| The laboratory was named after Allen G. Macdiarmid - a winner of Noble Prize of Chemistry in 2000. It focuses on R&D of electroactive, photoactive, biological active organic nanometer materials. There are 14 Academic Committee Board members , twothird of which are from American famous universities, national labs and enterprise groups , and many national famous scientists like Prof. Zhao Dongyuan, who is professor of Chemistry Department of Fudan University, Doctor Director, called “YangtseRiverscholar”. Prof. Qiu Shilun is the director of the laboratory , Chief Scientist of national key preliminary research and development planning project(973). And the laboratory was founded and operated on Nov. 12, 2000. |
